Overview

This chapter explores the differences between the Windows NT/2000/XP operating systems and the Windows 9x operating systems. Some considerations include where the operating system is used, the type of file system, and security issues. The student will learn the administrative tools specific to Windows NT/2000/XP. Additionally, the requirements for installing or upgrading to the Windows 2000 operating system and the special requirements are discussed.
