As discussed earlier in this chapter, the
majority of the system lock-up errors occur when a memory allocation
error exists or when system resources are too low. Running only one or
two applications at a time can prevent some system lock-up problems. A more permanent solution is to add system resources. For
example, the processor could be upgraded or memory could be added.
