The idea of Incorrect Parameter
Setting/Switches on the printer drivers applies here to the NIC
drivers. In some instances, NICs and NIC drivers are installed that
have numerous amounts of configuration software and parameter settings
or switches. The correct driver may have been installed. However, the
NIC may still not be functioning. In these instances, check the
software settings that may have been provided. Sometimes after
installing the drivers, specific settings or switches must be
configured to allow the NIC to work properly.
